The resumption of talks Monday between the Screen Actors Guild and studio executives is holding out the promise that life in Hollywood could soon return to normal.

That wouldn’t just mean that actors could get back to business as usual, alongside the writers who just ended their five-month strike, but all the workers connected to the entertainment industry — including the journalists who cover it.
