From an AP story headlined “‘ABC World News’ anchor David Muir chosen for Arizona State University’s Cronkite Award”:

David Muir, anchor of “ABC World News Tonight,” will be the next recipient of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism.

The managing editor of the nightly newscast, Muir will accept the award in February in Phoenix.

This will be the 40th year the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication has given out the accolade.
