From the Washington Post blog:

Washington Post Opinions announced the addition of Jason Willick as a staff columnist, starting Feb. 21. Willick will bring his broad expertise to regular columns on the latest legal issues, political news and global affairs.

“Jason Willick has wide-ranging interests, an incisive mind and conservative convictions that he argues thoughtfully,” said deputy editorial page editor Ruth Marcus.” We are thrilled to add his strong voice to our roster of columnists that span the ideological spectrum.”

A graduate of Stanford University, Willick was formerly an editorial writer and assistant editorial features editor for The Wall Street Journal, and before that a staff writer and associate editor at The American Interest. His writing has also appeared in National Review, National Affairs and Modern Age.
