Julie Tate Joins NYTimes Investigations Team

From a New York Times press release:

We’re thrilled to announce that Julie Tate, a premier researcher, is joining Investigations. Julie is well known to many of you: She has worked at The Washington Post for nearly 20 years, and made vital contributions to teams that produced Pulitzer Prize-winning stories on subjects ranging from the C.I.A.’s black sites, treatment lapses at Walter Reed medical center and Dick Cheney’s role as vice president, to N.S.A. surveillance, security contractors in Iraq and the Trump-Russia investigation. A top internal Post award, noting her role in some of its most distinguished journalism, cited “her gift for finding the unfindable.”

Those who have worked with Julie at The Post — including colleagues now at The Times — rave about her skills, dedication and collegiality.
