What Headline Writers Might Learn From a Band-Aid Box

After cutting a finger with a kitchen knife, I had time to read the Band-Aid box while my wife stopped the bleeding. And also what writers of digital headlines might learn from it about the power of positive words.

  1. Barnard Collier says

The only problem is that they paid more money for the “positive” words than they did to make the envelopes the Band-Aids are packaged in quick to open without tearing and ripping and often destroying the band.

You can bleed a pint while struggling just to get the accursed Band-Aid out.

And by the way: the unique adhesive power much of the time just doesn’t stick.
